Cloud Gaming Launch

Ubisoft
Supervisor, E-Commerce Operations
Drove CRC involvement in onboarding Ubisoft titles to GeForce Now, Amazon Luna, and Google Stadia, using user research and edge-case QA to help development teams protect the player experience across cloud platforms.
01 // The Problem
Each cloud gaming platform introduced its own quirks, including input lag patterns, account linking behaviors, regional availability, and storefront integration. These were bugs that didn't always reproduce on native installs and could undermine the player experience.
02 // Approach
I ran this as a cross-functional support and validation lane alongside platform onboarding.
The operating pattern included:
- edge-case discovery through frontline signal and structured user research
- cross-team triage with development and platform partners to isolate root causes
- escalation and tracking discipline so cloud-specific defects were visible and owned
- release-readiness checks against known risk areas before player-facing milestones
This kept cloud launch quality tied to real player experience instead of platform checklists alone.
03 // Outcome
Helped Ubisoft launch and stabilize player support for GeForce Now, Luna, and Stadia by catching cloud-specific friction early and routing issues to the right owners.
The work improved:
- launch readiness for cloud onboarding windows
- alignment between support and development teams on cloud defects
- player experience consistency across cloud and native contexts
